American Truck Simulator Louisiana: Shreveport Preview

SCS Software have once again provided more previews for the upcoming Louisiana DLC for American Truck Simulator. If you missed our past posts, we’ve already showcased the previous three previews from SCS, and here’s a link to our last post regarding the

Today’s preview specifically covers the city of Shreveport, one of the largest in the state with a population of just over 176,000. The city also runs alongside the Red River, which flows between Minnesota and North Dakota and eventually runs all the way up to Manitoba in Canada.

SCS Software have also modelled in many of Shreveport’s landmarks, including the cities’ skyline, which is filled with hotels and resorts that overlook the riverfront. In the real world, the city is well known for these resorts, along with casinos and it’s science center.

The city is also home to the IMAX dome in the real world, although it isn’t mentioned if this will be modelled.

The city is also home to Independence Stadium, and while SCS doesn’t mention it by name, they do mention players driving along the southern part of the city may notice it.

Lastly, SCS also notes that the city will have a variety of depots scatted throughout the area, along with a garage for those wishing to make the city their home, or to expand their operations.

The Louisiana DLC does not yet have a release date, but these previews hopefully signal that the release isn’t too far away. You can wishlist the DLC on steam on the dedicated store page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3012580/American_Truck_Simulator__Louisiana/
