Comment Posting Guidelines

Thank you for taking the time to look at our comment posting guidelines! SimulatorNews.com is attempting to build a welcoming community of simulation enthusiasts, and to do this, we require all users to abide by our comment posting guidelines.

What we ENCOURAGE when leaving comments

Stay on Topic: Please keep your comments relevant to the article you’re posting on.

Be Respectful: Treat others as you’d like to be treated. It’s okay to disagree with an article, a developer’s decision, or another commenter, but do so politely.

Offer Constructive Criticism: Have an issue with a game feature or a developer’s choice? Explain what you don’t like and why. Well-reasoned criticism is valuable. “I’m concerned the flight model feels too simple” is much better than “This addon is trash.”

Share Your Experience: Your insights are what make this community great! Share your experiences with the simulators we cover, offer tips to fellow players, and contribute to the discussion positively.

What to AVOID when leaving comments

Personal Attacks & Insults: Do not attack, insult, or name-call other commenters, the article’s author, or game developers. Any comment that is personally hostile will be removed.

Hate Speech & Harassment: There is zero tolerance for racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or any other form of bigotry or harassment. This is the fastest way to get your account permanently banned.

Spreading Misinformation: Do not post baseless rumours or conspiracy theories as fact. If you’re making a claim, be prepared to back it up.

Doxxing and Sharing Private Info: Posting anyone’s private information (“doxxing”) is a serious violation and will result in an immediate and permanent ban.

Spam & Self-Promotion: Do not post unsolicited advertisements, promotional links, or repetitive comments.

Illegal Content: Do not post links to pirated software, encourage illegal activities, or share any other illegal material.

Moderation Policy

We actively moderate comments on our posts and enforce these guidelines.

  1. Comments that violate these rules may be edited or deleted without notice.
  2. Users who repeatedly break the rules or commit a serious violation (like hate speech or doxxing) will have their accounts banned.
  3. Moderation is done by humans. If you believe your comment was removed in error, please contact us through our contact form.
