Despite Cities Skylines 2 releasing a few years ago, fans of the original game will be getting some new content later this month, with a 3 new content creator packs, featuring new buildings, maps, and a radio station. This comes 6 months after the games last DLC release.
Shops of Shibuya
Shops of Shibuya is the new and upcoming building pack, and is based on Japan’s Shibuya shopping district. It’s developed by cities skylines community member Stop it D, who has released high quality Japan assets on the steam Workshop in the past.
The pack features 3 unique buildings, 2 parks, 27 low density commercial growables, and 27 high density commercial growables. The pack also includes 47 props for players to use throughout their city.
We don’t yet know if this DLC will include a custom district theme as it’s not mentioned within the DLC description, but given most of the new content creator packs included these, it’s likely something that will be included.

Map Pack 4
Alongside the new building theme, Map Pack 4 has also been announced, and introduces 10 new maps by community member Uncle Ron, who has released multiple maps on the steam workshop.
The map pack features 3 Temperate, 2 Tropical, 3 European, and 2 Boreal maps, and are inspired by rivers and dramatic landscapes.
In addition to the maps, the pack will also include 10 intersections, just like we saw with Map Pack 3.

Harumi Nights FM
Lastly, we have the new radio station, Harumi Nights, which is inspired by the nightlife of Japan. The station features 16 tracks, though there is currently no preview of them.
All three upcoming DLC packs can be purchased as part of the Shops of Shibuya Bundle. You can also purchase them individually. The packs release on September 24th, 2025, at 10AM CEST.
