Earlier this year, City Transport Simulator: Bus was released as a DLC for City Transport Simulator on PC, and there is now good news for console players. This DLC is now heading to consoles, but as its own game.
The simulator will be released on October 7th, 2025, and will be available on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and will bring officially licensed buses along with interactive cockpits to console players.
The simulator will feature most of the same features as it’s DLC counterpart on PC, including the line editor and sandbox mode. The Line Editor mode allows players to create their own routes, stops, and record custom announcements. The console version will also feature AI controlled tram and buses, just as it’s PC counterpart.
Just like on PC, some of the buses will be locked behind DLC/special editions of the simulator, so this is something to keep in mind.
