ProMods has taken to their blog to preview some of the changes in the upcoming ProMods 2.76 version, which, according to ProMods, is not too far away. In the blog post, they give us a sneak peek at some of the new and reworked areas players will be able to explore.
France: A13 Free Toll Changes
First up is a small change to the A13 in France. The A13 is one of the busiest routes in France, connecting Paris with Normandy. ProMods mentions that as the toll booths have recently been removed in real life, they’ve also reflected that change in-game.

Serbia: Belgrade Bypass
They then go on to preview what ProMods say is one of the biggest improvements in v2.76, which is the addition of the long awaited Belgrade Bypass route. This road is a vital freight corridor in the real world, helping trucks avoid city congestion, and as it’s now been added in ProMods, you’ll finally be able to experience it in-game as well.
This change also features new interchanges, smoother navigation, and a much more realistic representation of Serbia’s road networks. ProMods also took the time to post a few before and after shots of this, which you can see below.

Spain: Approaching Gibraltar
Next they give us a glimpse of Gibraltar, which is being added in version 2.76. Along with Gibraltar, they have added a new approach road from Algeciras, which they also included a before and after shot of. We can also see from the before and after picture just how much the Gibraltar rock has improved.

In case you haven’t seen them before, we’ve also attached a few images of Gibraltar itself, which ProMods showed off on Facebook back in June.

Switzerland: More Local Towns
Lastly, they then give us a quick update on Switzerland, which now has more local towns thanks to a community Project: More Swiss Towns for ProMods, which has now been merged with ProMods itself.
ProMods state that while this was originally created to address the odd situation where companies were assigned to cities several minutes away, this add-on also introduced new city definitions for Susten and Domat/Ems, matching them to the nearest scenery settlements on the map, and that the implementation was inspired by how both ProMods and other map mods handled Austria, and that it helps make Switzerland feel more authentic, especially when you’re delivering cargo to local areas.
As this merge will see the project directly added to ProMods Europe, so there will no longer be a need to download it separately. They also once again provided a before and after shot, this time of the in-game map.

ProMods version 2.76 does not yet have a release date, but you can keep up with the latest news here on SimulatorNews.com, or, directly on the ProMods blog over at https://blog.promods.net/
