Seafarer: The Ship Sim, which is due to release into early access on Oct 7th, 2025, has just released a small preview of one of the ships players will be able to drive in the game.
The ship, Density, is a police ship. It’s robust builds allows it to handle tasks with ease, and it features a large fuel tank so that it can travel further out to sea.
The post by Seafarer also seems to confirm that we’ll have some coastguard/police like missions, as they state that “As part of the Tide Guard faction, Density ensures that you are prepared for anything the sea throws at you. From routine patrols to inspections, this ship is a steadfast partner in maintaining order on the waves.“
As to how in-depth these missions will be is not yet known, but the gif below seems to apply that players will have access to launch a drone from the ship.
