Seafarer: The Ship Sim has been released on Steam into early access, bringing one of the latest ship simulators to the market.
If you missed it, we covered some of the ships you can experience in this sim here and here. The early access period currently contains around 30 hours of gameplay across the first two factions, one of which is a Logistics company and presents cargo operations, and the Tide Guard faction, which offers police patrols and rescue missions.
Later on in the year, the developers state they are planning on bringing a Bulk and LNG update, which will introduce large-scale shipping vessels, along with new cargo operations. Next year will also see a rescue update, expanding on the Tide Guard faction.
The developers have also provided a roadmap in the form of a Trello board, which you can view here.
