Not long ago, SCS Software previewed the truck stops in the upcoming South Dakota DLC, and today we have yet another preview of the upcoming DLC, this time featuring its grasslands and forests.
South Dakota is a state that has vast changing landscapes, ranging from open plains to rolling hills, forests, fields, and more. This is something SCS has tried to replicate in the simulator, adding in dense forests and the black hills.

As mentioned above, SCS have also modelled in the Black Hills National Forest, with US 85, US 385, US 18, and SD-44 passing through it.

Further to the east, players will be able to take interstate 90, which passes near the Badlands National Park.

Lastly, in the preview, we get a look at Prairie Plains, which SCS notes you’ll be able to see when driving on roads such as SD-34, SD-50, I-90 and US 18.

South Dakota for American Truck Simulator does not yet have a release date, however, you can wishlist the DLC now on Steam via the store page https://store.steampowered.com/app/3749870/American_Truck_Simulator__South_Dakota/
