Storage Hunter Simulator released into early access back in October 2024, and today it’s received a new update, adding the highly requested multiplayer feature for up to 4 players.
If you don’t already own Storage Hunter Simulator or don’t know what it is, you bid on up-for-sale storage units that have been abandoned by their owners. Sometimes you’ll get lucky and find expensive items, other times, you won’t find anything of value.
The game features thousands of items, and you’re able to open up your own pawnshop to sell off the items you find.
In order to use Multiplayer for now, however, you’ll need to join the developer’s discord to register for the multiplayer beta. The steps to do this are:
- Join the Storage Hunters Discord server
- Open a ticket in the support channel
- Write “SHS Multi”
- They will grant you the Beta Tester role, unlocking access to dedicated testing channels
In addition to adding Multiplayer, the update has a few other new additions and fixes.
- New locations: Naple Town, Zwiebel Farm, Amusement Park
- 6 minigames in Amusement Park (available in both solo and multiplayer modes)
- Rewards for playing minigames: 2 new vehicles available now: Truck and Bus. More vehicles coming later
- 2 new houses available for purchase
- 2 new auction sites in the new locations
- 2 new pawnshops in the new locations
- Collectibles
- New achievements
- Extended day duration – days are now longer
